Setup: Macintosh OSX

Open your System Preferences pane and select Network

 

Choose the + icon in lower left corner to add a new network connection.

 

In the interface drop-down, choose VPN. In the VPN Type drop-down, choose PPTP. In Service Name type a name that does not already exist.

 

Click on your newly created network connection name on the left.
In the Server Address field enter one of

  • jp1.ninserver.com (Japanese server)
  • us1.ninserver.com (US servers)
  • us2.ninserver.com
  • us3.ninserver.com
  • us4.ninserver.com
  • us5.ninserver.com
  • uk1.ninserver.com (UK servers)
  • uk2.ninserver.com
  • uk3.ninserver.com
  •  

    In the account name field enter your VPNinja username.  Click on the Authentication Settings button.

     

     

    In the password field enter your VPNinja password and click OK.

     

    Check the Show VPN status in menu bar checkbox, and then click on Advanced.

     

    Make sure that send all traffic over VPN connection is checked and click OK.

     

    Click Apply to apply your changes.
    Clicking on Apply is very important - this connection will not work without it! Then click the connect button to activate the service (Make sure that you are currently connected to the internet)

     

    Confirm that you are connected.

     

    Your VPN connection can be enabled, disabled, and tracked via the VPN switch icon on the menu bar.
